The Fox's Way Out

A fox fell into a well. He could not climb out.

A goat was thirsty and happened to pass by the well. He saw the fox down in the well, so he asked, " Is the water inside nice to drink?"

The fox thought this was a good chance. Therefore, he eagerly praised that the water in the well was the sweetest in the world and urged the goat to enjoy it at once.

The goat wanted only  to drink water and he was a simpleton, so he jumped down immediately. After drinking enough, only did he realize there was no way to get out.

At this time, the fox told him a brilliant plan to get out of the well. The first step of the plan was that the goat bent against the wall to let the fox stand on his back and jump out.

The goat followed exactly what the fox said without a second thought. As soon as the fox climbed out of the well, he started to run. The goat was so angry that he scolded the fox for being dishonest and perfidious. The fox turned round and said, "You should suffer for your own act. Why don't you think before you leap?"
